ABOUT US
BlueSub media is a small media production company based in Cornwall, England. It is run by students and was created by Joe Lander in May 2019 as a way of displaying his and his friends' work to the world. Since then, the pseudonym BlueSub has been used on all of the groups work, in order to help establish themselves as a collective and help promote each-other's work, all in one place.
The early days
The name 'BlueSub' came from a non-school uniform day in May of 2019. Being the final non- uniform day before college, Joe and friend James wopre "Sub To PewDiePie" merchandise for the day, with Joe sporting a homemade shirt with a blue submarine on it.
Later that day Joe joked about having his own media company one day, calling it "BlueSub Media" and the idea refused to leave his mind. That night him and some friends drafted an idea for an Instagram series that Joe later created a trailer for. The series ended up cancelling after two episodes, but the name "BlueSub Media" has stayed on Joe's work since, even getting its own Google account later in the year followed immediately by an Instagram.
When he arrived at Truro College, Joe took the image of the blue submarine and edited it in Photoshop to create the logo we know today.
